Hello

Jordan Hines is a painter residing in Lexington, KY. His practice is rooted in the simple act of placing liquid materials onto solid surfaces in the hope that it brings out a beautiful dialogue between the two. He works towards qualities of transparency, space, and color as they are observed at those meetings between nature and the built world. Alongside his studio practice, Jordan teaches at the University of Kentucky School of Architecture, focusing on teaching the art and craft of making real things.
